Finitus ("the App", "we", "our") is a life-progress tracker built around the philosophy of Memento Mori — a personal tool to help you stay mindful of your time. This Privacy Policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and what choices you have.

To calculate your life-progress calendar, the App asks you to enter:

On Android, the App uses Firebase Analytics (provided by Google LLC). This service collects anonymous, aggregated usage data such as:
Analytics collection is opt-in only. You will be asked for your consent in the Settings screen. You may withdraw your consent at any time from the same screen.
To identify and fix technical issues, the App collects anonymous crash reports:
Crash reports contain technical diagnostic information (device model, OS version, stack trace) but do not include your personal data such as your date of birth or life expectancy.

We do not use any data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond what is listed above.
The App integrates the following third-party services on Android. Each has its own Privacy Policy:

On iOS, crash reporting is handled by CrashKios, which operates locally on your device.
No data is sold to, or shared with, any advertiser or data broker.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties, except:

Finitus is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal data through the App, please contact us at support@hrconnect.pt and we will take steps to delete such information.
Your date of birth and life expectancy are stored only on your device using the platform's native local storage mechanisms (Android SharedPreferences / iOS). We do not have access to this data. Anonymous analytics and crash data transmitted to Firebase are protected by Google's security infrastructure and transported over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
